July 28, 2016 MEETING

The meeting was called to order at 9:00.
Members present: Joseph Valentinetti, Joe Osuna, Oralia Osuna, Kate Pedigo, Bonnie Z Cooper,  Paul Basset, Loreen Christian, Bill Holden, Howard Jarvis, Brian Harmon, Dee Harmon, Anna Derby, Andrew Kim, Bill Frambach. Also in attendance was VPC’s newest member, Andrew Kim.
Minutes:  Members had read the minutes on line. Brian Harman moved that the minutes be approved. Howard Jarris seconded. The minutes were approved.
Treasurer:  The July treasurer’s report showed a balance of $1340.57 in the bank account and $160.00 in petty cash. Tommy Williams donated $100 to the club.
Bonnie moved to accept the treasurer’s report. Seconded by Bill Frambach. Report approved.
Acknowledgement: Special thanks to Tommy Williams for bringing donuts in appreciation of the work the VPC has provided especially his recent “Cabaret” production and also for the many other videos the club has completed.
New Business:  
ILW The September 2016 Inside Leisure World is being hosted Joe Osuna. Joe will interview Pastor Bruce Humes and his wife dancer Margaret Humes, of the First Christian Church.
Round Table Discussion:  Kate Pedigo is thankful for our work. Oralia and Joe filmed Amy Walker’s International Dance Show currently showing on Superwire. They also filmed their trip to the beach which is showing on Superwire and SBTV3. Bonnie Cooper is working on 4 projects including GAF, Red Hats and other shows. Brian and Dee Harmon have completed two 30-minute shows regarding the Black Panthers. Further, Brian has just returned from Mongolia where he conducted many interviews and will be producing a show. Bill Holden worked on the 4th of July program and crewed for Bonnie on the Red Hat show.
Robin Forte-Lincke spoke at length about the many changes made at the SBTV3 studio and about the Wave awards.
